Responsibilities
- Support IT projects, vendor management, and daily IT operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to minimise disruption to hotel operations.
- Ensure that the hotel computer systems are installed and operating properly; system security measures are in place; computer hardware is well maintained; systems are utilised to their maximum potential; new systems are installed to improve hotel efficiency and profitability and adhere to hotel and Artyzen Hospitality Group standards and guidelines.
- Manage and monitors the operation of all computer hardware, ensure all systems are working and installed properly, and serve as the primary contact for any maintenance works.
- Ensure that all systems are covered by proper maintenance contracts and that preventive maintenance is performed as required.
- Maintain an up-to-date register of all computer hardware.
- Understand all standard and customized features and functions of the front office system, point of sale system, and call accounting system, including, but not limited to system security, system reports, manager functions, system utilities and user functions.
- Administer all user ID’s, passwords, and the most sensitive system utilities, secure all resources and critical libraries.
- Develop P&Ps pertaining to systems applications usage and control.
- Develop and communicate SOPs and ensure standards are understood and in compliance to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform audit, identify and report security gaps in procedures pertaining to system applications to Director of Finance.
- Provide in-house training to end users within hotel for all system applications.
- Provide support for end users for applications.
- To complete monthly reports to Director of Finance in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Other ad-hoc assignments and projects as needed.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in hospitality or service industry
- Knowledge of servers, networks, cloud platforms, and hotel IT systems
- Familiarity with IT service management, backup, and disaster recovery processes
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and be flexible
- Passionate and enthusiastic with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
