Artyzen Hospitality Group (AHG) has announced the expansion of its portfolio with 7 highly anticipated openings in Asia, driven by the positive travel trajectory and recovery across the Asia-pacific region.
AHG will notably mark its “Tale of Two Cities” with its flagship luxury hotel openings of Artyzen Singapore and Artyzen NEW BUND 31 Shanghai in the second half of 2023. In addition, the Artyzen Habitat brand will add another four hotels to its portfolio along with TOP Residence Taopu Shanghai, bringing a total of 19 operating properties worldwide in 2023.
This robust growth reflects AHG’s brand appeal to Gen Z and Millennials with its unique lifestyle pillars re-imagined from the Chinese idiom of 衣食住行乐 – “clothing” (art and design), “food” (culture and gastronomy), “housing” (habitat and community), “walking” (discovery and exploration), and “music” (joyful experience). According to a recent survey1, 76% of consumers plan to take a leisure trip in the next 12 months, out of which 84% are Gen Z and 81% are Millennials. These consumers show specific interest in learning more about travel options that support local cultures and communities which reinforces AHG’s brand strategy.
Artyzen Singapore and Artyzen NEW BUND 31 Shanghai Flagships Open in 2023
Inspired by Singapore’s culture, colours, and flavours, Artyzen Singapore is a fresh interpretation of luxury located in the heart of the Orchard Road district, opening in Q4 2023. Embracing its heritage roots, the contemporary hotel comprises 142 rooms and a roof garden that celebrates the Strait’s Chinese heritage. In partnership with renowned architect ONG&ONG Pte Ltd and interior design studio Nic Graham + Associates, Artzyen Singapore will be transformed into a luxury vertical oasis in the heart of Singapore. The green theme extends to The Roof Garden, a private social destination that is alive with botanical vibes where guests can dip in the 25-metre cantilevered infinity pool and enjoy signature drinks in the sunken lounge.
Set to open in Q3 2023, Artyzen NEW BUND 31 Shanghai is a flagship hotel located in the buzzy art and cultural hub of Shanghai. Designed by the award-winning Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, Artyzen NEW BUND 31 Shanghai is a modern classic, subtly weaving unique Shanghainese aesthetics, art, and cultural temperament into the hotel design and guest experiences. With 202 striking and spacious guestrooms, an expansive floor integrating indoor and outdoor spaces, a destination restaurant, al fresco bars, and one-of-a-kind full event spaces, the landmark property is envisioned to be a place of respite, a place of curiosity, a place of culture.
Four Artyzen Habitat hotels to open in China reinforcing the “Inhabit the Space you live” experience
Guided by the brand’s people-centric philosophy of “Embracing Art, Culture, and Emotional Wisdom”, Artyzen Habitat is founded upon creating a culturally and socially sustainable habitat by connecting with the community and the neighbourhood in a meaningful way.
