Artyzen Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai Hosts “Celebration Night” Connecting Business, Culture, and Community

20 June 2025

Artyzen Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai hosted its first 2025 “Celebration Night” event on June 19th, connecting businesses and communities from Macau, Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. The event embodied the hotel’s “Connection” narrative, leveraging its strategic location near the Hengqin Port to create a vibrant platform for cultural immersion and business collaboration. Key associations from Macau and Hengqin, along with key business and media representatives, joined the celebration.

Guests enjoyed a captivating evening of live music, a delectable selection of Mediterranean cuisine infused with local flavours from Townsquare Café, and unique cultural experiences. A special cultural workshop explored Doumen’s traditional bamboo weaving, while an art exhibition featured the inspiring works of talented autistic artists, the award-winning Mr. He Jianhai (Da Hai), courtesy of the Zhuhai Autism Society. Artyzen Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai provided complimentary exhibition space, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to community engagement. This collaboration underscores Artyzen Hospitality Group’s and its brands’ dedication to community care. Mr. Rutger Verschuren, Area Vice President, Macau and Hengqin of Artyzen Hospitality Group, emphasised: “Artyzen Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai is more than just a hotel; it’s a vision. Rooted in the spirit of the Greater Bay Area, it was meant to be a place that connects people, ideas, and communities. A place where hospitality feels natural, not scripted. Where the service is heartfelt, not forced. Guests don’t just stay here; they experience a warm welcome and a sense of belonging.”

Mr. Rogier Verhoeven, Executive Director and President of the Group Hospitality Division at Shun Tak Holdings Limited, accepted a Certificate of Commendation from Mr. He Bingling, Vice President of the Zhuhai Autism Society, recognising Artyzen Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai’s commitment to community engagement

The event successfully fostered connections between business, culture, and the community. As Mr. Eric Chu, General Manager of Artyzen Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai, noted: “The Artyzen Habitat motto, ‘Inhabit the Space You Live,’ drives us to embrace individuality, encourage discovery and exploration, and foster meaningful connections with the community. As the brand’s first Greater Bay Area property, we will continue to evolve beyond traditional hospitality, aiming to become a dynamic cultural platform.”
