As Artyzen Hospitality Group continues its development and expansion plans in China and the Asia Pacific region, Sunny Li has been newly appointed as the Group’s Vice President, China commencing 1 December 2022.
A hospitality veteran with over 30 years of experience, Li has previously held leadership roles covering development, operations, as well as sales and marketing in multiple hotel companies including Rosewood (New World), Dream Hotels, and Marriott in different capacities over his illustrious career. Li also worked in the Real Estate Division of Morgan Stanley Investment Bank for acquisitions and management of hotels, serviced apartments, commercial complexes and shopping malls in China.
Li is very familiar with owner-operator business models, as well as Hotel Management Agreements and franchise operations. Li joins Artyzen Hospitality Group from Sydney where he has been serving as COO of an asset management company. He will be based in Shanghai and reporting directly to Peter Wynne, Senior Vice President of the Group.

Li is a Hotel Management graduate of Hong Kong Polytechnic and holds an MBA from the University of Wales, UK. An advocate of a healthy work-life balance, he jogs 5km daily, plays tennis, badminton and golf and sometimes goes for a swim. He also enjoys Go Kart Racing, music and amateur photography.
