Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street runs 1.2km from one end to the other. Known for shopping and entertainment in Old Shanghai, the street is lined with modern skyscrapers juxtaposed with old European-style colonial buildings. The charming retro neon light boxes is reminiscent of the bustling scene of Old Shanghai. Get on the "dangdang car", an old sightseeing tram, and enjoy delicious local snacks and pick up souvenirs on this busy street.

Yu Garden, also sometimes known as Yu Yuan Garden, is a hallmark of classical gardens south of the Yangtze River. Yu Garden was rebuilt from a private garden in the Ming Dynasty in 1559. The 55,000 sqm garden has six scenic landscape areas, highlighting classical Chinese architecture. Admire the landscapes, exquisite sculptures, and carvings as you take a leisurely stroll through the gardens. Pick up handcrafted local souvenirs at Yuyuan Garden Bazaar and take a break in the local tea houses for a snack and some tea.
