Macanese Sangria Ritual
Experience our Macanese Sangria Ritual, an East-meets-West spa journey that honors Macau’s rich Portuguese and Chinese heritage. This wonderfully soothing treatment embodies a shared appreciation for the red wine Sangria among Portuguese and Chinese.
This ritual is an indulgent three-step experience that includes a “vinotherapy” treatment of grape seeds, extracts, and essential oils. Your journey begins with a sensual body scrub of fresh grapes and crushed rice with a mixture of grape seed oil, rosemary and essential oil.
Next, you will be invited to step outdoors to enjoy a revitalizing sangria bath in your private spa garden. As you soak in a bath full of red wine and grape seed extracts, you will also receive a refreshing glass of sangria to sip on throughout your experience. Following on from your bath, you will be led back into your treatment room for an 80-minute grape seed oil massage.

- Advanced Bookings: We strongly advise booking your treatments in advance to ensure availability of your preferred time and service.
- Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 3 hours’ notice to avoid charges. Cancellations within 3 hours will incur a 100% charge. A credit card number is required at the time of booking.
- Spa Arrival: We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check-in at the spa reception and discuss the features of your chosen treatment. This allows ample time to enjoy our pre-spa facilities. Please note that late arrivals will not be given an extension of scheduled treatments.
- Spa Etiquette: We recommend disconnecting from electronic devices while in the spa to fully enjoy your treatments and respect fellow spa guests’ privacy and serenity.
- Valuables: A locker is available. We suggest not wearing jewelry during treatments for optimum relaxation. The management and staff are not responsible for the loss of money or valuables taken into the spa premises.
- Age Requirement: The minimum age requirement for spa access is 16 years of age.
- Child Care: Child care services can be arranged for you at The Resort while you unwind and enjoy. Please check resort reception for availability and prices.
- Health Conditions: Please inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries that could affect your service when making your reservation. Address any areas of discomfort or sensitivity so the therapist can tailor the treatment to your needs.
- Personal Hygiene: Please maintain good personal hygiene by showering or using the provided facilities before your spa treatment to ensure a pleasant experience for both you and the therapist.
- Gift Vouchers: Gift certificates are available for spa enthusiasts from The Spa at Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau. Please ask reception for more details.
- Spa Boutique: To continue your spa regimen at home, all spa products used in treatments and services are available in our spa boutique. Please note that a 5% government tax is added to all products and services.
