For the 6th year, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau has organized a spectacular mass yoga session at the Hotel Lobby to celebrate International Yoga Day, promoting the lifestyle of health and wellness and fostering cultural interactions. The session was held in the morning of June 23, 2024.
Since 2018, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau has organized events to observe International Yoga Day, officially marked on June 21. The day was registered with the United Nations in 2014 to foster global health, harmony and peace, marking its 10th Anniversary this year.
Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau celebrated its 12th annual International Yoga Day on 21 June, welcoming more than 280 participants to the Resort’s Outdoor Lawn for a morning of mindfulness, movement and shared experience under this year’s global theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”
Organised by Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau in partnership with Yoga Light, the Yoga and Sports General Association of Macau, Joy Yoga, and Green Zone, the event formed part of Artyzen Studio, a group-wide platform established by Artyzen Hospitality Group to bring together masters, artisans, and communities through meaningful cultural, creative and wellbeing experiences.
In celebration of the Month of Portugal, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau and Amagao Gallery proudly unveiled “POP lá”, a solo exhibition by Portuguese artist Raquel Gralheiro, inviting visitors on a vibrant visual journey that explores the cultural connections between Portugal and Macau through colour, memory and imagination.
Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau and Amagao Gallery present “Delta of Venus”, a solo exhibition by Chinese artist Kay Zhang, co-organised by 1844 Macau Espaço de Arte Fotográfica Association. The exhibition brings together a compelling body of work exploring personal memory, identity, and the subtle interplay between reality and imagination.
The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by distinguished guests, including Professor Li Jun, Head of the Department of Arts and Design at the University of Macau; Mr. Rutger Verschuren, Area Vice President, Macau and Hengqin of Artyzen Hospitality Group and General Manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau; Artist Ms. Kay Zhang; Co-curators Mr. Ieong Man Pan and Mr. Victor Marreiros; as well as Ms. Lina Ramadas, Director of Amagao Gallery.
Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau is delighted to introduce Little Chin, a joyful new character inspired by the legacy of renowned 19th-century English painter George Chinnery. Created as a playful tribute to the artist who once wandered the streets of Macau with a sketchbook in hand, Little Chin brings the hotel’s artistic heritage to life and invites families and travellers of all ages to rediscover the city through curious eyes and a joyful heart.
Launching with a charming collection comprising a plush toy, kids’ amenities travel bag, and a thoughtfully designed City Walk Map, the Little Chin experience encourages guests to explore Macau through art and discovery. It also reflects the hotel’s commitment to celebrating art, culture, and the cherished spirit of Boa Vida – enjoying the good things in life.
Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau proudly supported the World Earth Day 2026 initiative led by the Macau IC2 Association (“I Can Too”), in collaboration with Shenmo Star River Public Welfare Alliance and Macau Dragon Voyage Sport Association. Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, in partnership with Amagao Gallery, celebrates a meaningful milestone with the presentation of “YEAR FOUR EXHIBITION • ANNIVERSARY” on 26 March 2026. This group exhibition marks the gallery’s fourth anniversary, bringing together more than 37 works by 26 artists from Angola, Brazil, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, Singapore and Timor-Leste. The exhibition reflects a rich exchange of perspectives shaped by diverse cultures and artistic voices.
Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Horse with vibrant energy and a renewed sense of community, marking the Lunar New Year at one of Macau’s most established urban resorts in the heart of the peninsula.
The celebrations began with a traditional Dragon and Lion Dance performance on the first day of Lunar New Year. Performed by Long Ceng Sports Club and accompanied by the rhythmic beat of drums and cymbals, the ceremony filled the resort grounds with color, movement and auspicious spirit, symbolising prosperity, good health and positive momentum for the year ahead, sharing the joy and cultural pride.
NAAM Thai Restaurant at Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau has once again been honoured with the Thai Select Award, achieving Thai Select 2-Star Restaurant recognition from by the Ministry of Commerce, The Royal Thai Government. This accolade reaffirms its commitment to authentic Thai cuisine, refined presentation and thoughtful hospitality. The award is valid for three years, from December 2025 to November 2028.
Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau and The Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Saint Joseph solidified a strategic partnership with the inauguration of the Sustainable Business Lab and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 26 November. Officially opened on 29 May 2025 in celebration of the Month of Portugal, the exhibition is a visual and cultural homage that invites viewers to explore the unique artistic landscape of Portugal while also reflecting on global cultural connections and contrasts.
